Shot size
Shot size is the different sizes of the shots inside the frame, examples of shot size are...
- Extreme long shot. This gives the audience a clear shot of where the scene will be taking place.
- Extreme close up. This is used to show a subject up close and to portray their emotions more clearly.
- Medium shot. This shows the subject and the setting is equal proportions.
Camera angle
Low angle shots are made from a camera positioned low on the vertical axis, anywhere below the eyeline, looking up. The effect this creates is one of power.

Movement
Pedding is when the camera moves up and down whereas panning is when it moves from side to size.
Tracking is when the camera follows the subject like a shadow wheras crabbing is when the camera follows the subject but only moves from side to side.
